Beginner lighting for professional fashion photography? |
I've been taking photographs for about a year and a bit. I'd stick to strobes, first off. Most of the continuous lighting kits on eBay and the like aren't powerful enough to get the ISO down and the aperture small, and they are highly limited in modifiers. You certainly won't get anywhere near the overpowering the sun effect in your sample photo. Try here: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.... There are lots of opinins, reviews, etc... there. Evan has covered it very well as always. Studio lighting couldn't compare with Flash diffuser like Lightsphere with cloud cover. This diffuser won't given strong shadows by using Bounce flash , also have best lighting for your fashion Photography shots. I teach photograhy as an art. Evan B, has answered you fully. I would use strobes or wireless flash units off camera. You can use reflectors or diffuser's also to work with the natural light. Flash does wonders for eyes. |
