What are these kind of cats called(link included)? |
http://www.shlomifish.org/art/photograph... It's a Calico cat and they are almost always female. Male Calicos do exist but they are EXTREMELY rare. But calicos are just a regular domestic shorthaired cat - not considered a "purebred." you can find one at the local animal shelter. looks like a calico a calico cat!! They're not a breed but a colour mutation! So you could have for example a persian cat which is calico coloured! domestic calico Looks like a DSH, color is calico In the uk they are called tortoise shell or torties. they are allways female. Well its a calico and every one i have had had been a female i have never had a male calico it is a tortis shell cat because rue calico cats have no white....i just helped my daughter read a feline book on breeds...so it is a tortis shell cat....
