May be a silly question, but are you allowed to bring a camera into the Detroit Institute of Arts? |
This is what I read... I know the color of my camera doesn't determine the quality of my pics, it was more a joke to add that... The thing is all of this art is copyrighted. The artists still alive would have the opportunity to sue the Institute. So no photography in those spots. you can call them and ask...... I think ring them would be a good idea. Sounds like you tell them you want to take some snaps and they say sure and tell you where not to shoot. i called them recently. from what I remember, no cameras are allowed in the special exhibits. no tripods or monopods, no flash photography, and security needs to approve your camera. My guess is that it can't be a DSLR, but I could be wrong. I think your little pink camera will be ok, just shut off the flash. |
