What are some good programs to major in for art if you can draw very well and enjoy photography?

I have an interview tomorrow at the art institute and I was just wondering what would be a good program that I could mention that I would be interested in. I am undesided about what kind of art I should take and what is available. I am very good at realistic drawings of people, Im good at painting, drawing, and photography. What kind of major would include that type of art? I'm not really sure what kind of programs are out their that i could do.. all i know is that i love art and i am really good at it. Please help by giving me some advice i would greatly appriciate it! thank you!

If you know anything about the Art Institute please let me know your feelings about it. Is it a good school, is it worth attending, do you get jobs after you graduate from there right away, is it worth all the money it costs....

why don't u choose photography or graphic design? both of them are pretty needed these days..

I went to the Art Institute. They are sooooo overpriced, totally ridiculous tuition there.
I would only go there if you feel you have the money that could buy you a small house to waste.

Blagging is not recommended, but the average student who hasn't got cash to burn would probably be into The Gimp, no I'm not joking. It can be found on-line at:
http://www.gimp.org/
Its completely free and quite close to photoshop (100's of pounds), bargain.

I haven't gone to an Art Institute, but I'm studying Graphic Design at University. I love the course but to be honest if you can afford it then I'd choose to go to an Art Institute.

There's nothing wrong with going to university but its better to go to a place that specialises in the area you want to study, that way the facilities should be better.

Art Institute sounds good. You are so versatile, why not consider commercial art (advertising) as a place to start after schooling. Being able to go out into the field and photograph an idea, then bring it back for a stylized piece of commercial art for an ad, would make you valuable. Having a photographic eye and ability to draw and blending them together is better than what most have in that field. You're a creative person and should do well in the art world.
