What is an Associate of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts?

what is the difference and what is better?

is an associate in photography even worth it?

An associate degree is a two year degree you get from a community college. A bachelor is a 4 year degree from a university or college (although some community colleges now also grant them).

A bachelor is always better than an associate as it opens more doors (eg you can get into a Masters). Any qual is worth it - but if you can go for the bachelor.

Thanks
Bill

The first is a 2 year degree from a community college. The second is a 4 year degree from a University or College. I would talk to a councilor about your goals. The answer is different dependingon what you are looking for out of your education.

Good luck and stay with it.
