Don't know what to study! I love arts but i really can't choose between Dancing, Painting, Photography...! |
and writing. I love them all but there must be one out of all them that is truly my real passion! I'very confused right now. You needn't choose just one to get a fine arts degree. Study all of them. If you go to a liberal arts college you can find all of these, you don't need to pick one your first year. After you've taken college level classes you'll start to find your real calling, without ever having to give up any of your loves. I sing, paint, draw, and do garden design and installation-all my passions-for money, and still find time to do a whole lot of other things I love to do, including being a mom. Joseph Campbell coined the term "Follow Your Bliss", I believe we are too complex of beings to only have one bliss.Life is short, but wide. Do them all....Then you won't worry about letting one go. study them all--you should do what makes you happy and be a well rounded person |

There are some great books out there you can find in most libraries. One I like is "successful Self promotion for Photographers" by Elyse Weissberg. She covers portfolios as well. For... One idea would be finding a local art shop and see if they would be interested in selling your work in their store. Same with online.
