I am doing ar art photography and graphics at a2 level i have just started the exam i am goin todo buildings,? |
i have always done collages and hand drawn stuff...i want to do something difebt but its hard to find artis links any suggestions??? i,ve always used david hockney links are there any inspiring artist who have done amazing collages?? What about doing something like david hockney? Try learning to write properly before you do any exams. Can you repeat the question? Unfortunately I only speak English. having studied architecture i would start by looking at the relationship between art of a certain period that you find provoking,then looking at the ramifications of that in architecture of the same/later period. The relationship between buildings and time is always great - not only when it was built but what happens to it 'with' time, how a building's use might change, or the materials 'show' time, or alternativley how 'culture' or 'nature' reinhabits it. Visionary artists who have created impossible building could also be a good starting point. Look at ' The built, the unbuilt and the unbuildable' Robert Harbinson, or if literary minded 'Invisible Cities' Italio Calvino - might get you thinking. |
