My wife and I have begun to fairly aggressively collect modern and contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on contemporary photography. My Thomas Kincaid has been a favorite for years, as time has passed, I have changed art faves and my big painting doesn't look good in my African style living room anymore. He is known as the painter of light, his paintings go for a good amount of money (but not unreachable). The paintings will be worth more later, sadly when he is not around to enjoy the glory. I live near Seattle so we have known of him back when he was not-so- famous. |
