I cannot decide on my art major. I am considering photography and illustration. Neither one is offered as a minor at the university I attend. How much more work would it be to complete a double major? I already have about 40 credit hours of work completed. Thanks! A double major is not quite twice the work of a single major, but it is a lot of work. I did History and Philosophy. It also depends on how many hours are required for each major and how you can double up on gen ed requirements.
It is, without a doubt, worth it. The most interesting people I know had double majors, major and minor, major and two minors. It also lets employers and grad schools know that you can work hard. |
