The inevitable college question...? |
But seriously, i need a real answer. i am a junior and have gotten 3.5 or 3.6 every semester. I do cheer and am in 2 community service clubs, and a Spanish honor society. heres my courses so far/for the future: you asked for it: a small school, prefrebly in the northeast or in california (on the coast and not too hot), nonrelious, and my favorite subjects are histoty (medeival and renniasance) and lit, and i want to study abroad, and i think thats about it. San Luis Obisbo. Great school. It really depends on what college you want to go to and what area of majors you wish to persue. You have a nice course selection, GPA and activities, which makes you a strong candidate for majority of colleges. However, SAT/ACT scores and essays play a large role in acceptance. Not all colleges have the same programs. You should decide the answer to this question. You could probably get into most colleges right now. It really depends on you though. First find colleges that have the majors/minors you want to study, then determine their academic requirements or w/e. With a background like this don't worry! You should be able to get into any school you apply to unless it's like Harvard who denies perfect 800's on SaT's. I think you have a good change with any state school if that's what you were thinking of. Stop worrying so much of whether or not you'll get in and worry about how you're going to pay for it once you enroll. I think you have a good shot for any good 4 year school-try to get a higher gpa and raise your class rank though that helps. Class rank is something that is looked at too. See where you stand and then improve on that. Probably any state college. You're doing better than most, but you're not exactly Harvard Material more like Cal State Pomona or possibly SUNY Cortland. first specify what you want: size, location, big or small, then we can answer you better! |
