Years ago, while I was attending college, I headed to the library during my free time and I picked up this one book from the art section on photography during winter.
As I flicked through the pages, I stopped at a section that focused on this one photographer in particular and I immediately fell in love with his work.
Since then I've tried to track down anything I can find but have so far found no leads.
Basically, it was a photographer that used a lot of lightbulbs and fluorescent lights in deep snow-drifts, placed in patters or concentric circles. When the lights were turned on, the snow illuminated with errie but very soothing hues.
This photographer's work summed up my feelings of snow and its effect, me being very much a winter person and all. :)
So does anyone know of this artist or know of similar techniques? As I said, I've tried looking, but to no avail. Help would be much appreciated. I have no idea, I am sorry.
Can you go back to your college or contact them and see if anyone remembers. What city were you in? Could it be someone from there.
One last question, can you go to amazon or to another book store and look in the photography section for these type of
images?
