Solo in Vegas: What can I get into on a weekday?

i'll be in vegas on a tuesday and wednesday, i plan on hittin the strip at sunset but i need to do something in the daytime on a budget with no car. i'm not into gambling or shopping (i know that sounds weird coming from a female) so what can i do? i'm into music, photography, and art.

are there any record stores that sell used vinyl in the strip/downtown vicinity? i know about the hiphopsite.com store but i'm not sure how far that is from freemont st. where i'll be staying.

You have to visit the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay they have live blues music on Wednesday nights and the restaurant is covered in folk art. They encourage you to come in and enjoy the art even if you do not plan on eating. Great atmosphere, music and food!!

There are several art collections in vegas.

Bellagio has art gallery, the Picasso's restaurant has about 12 Picasso's on the walls.

Steve Wynn has a nice collection of painting at the wynn.

There is a large Guggenheim/Hermitage gallery at the Venetian

The Hip Hop store is about six miles from where you will be down town. You may pass it from the airport to your hotel. It is across from UNLV on Maryland parkway.

I love Las Vegas.

You may want to hit the swimming pool at your hotel. There could be a free gym/spa that is a good way to get your blood pumping. Bring your ipod and favorite reading materials.
