i live in hawaii... i want to leave. its to late to apply anywhere appart form a community college. so can anyone please help and inform me of any that would accept somone who is not a resident
also i want to study the arts (photography.. preforming) so if it offers those even better !
oh yeah and i want to go to california ... or even new york I go to mount san antonio college in walnut california, its one of the best community colleges in the state and california is known for having the best junior colleges in the country.
They have a great arts program, check it out at mtsac.edu
as far as residency is concerned, they will accecpt just about anyone (thats the benefit of comm college) but if you are from out of state you will have to pay out of residency fees for the first year, which are something like 140$ a credit hour with most classes being 3 credit hours, BUT after a year of residence you only have to pay 20$ a credit hour.
depending on your income level and academic performance you might be eligible for financial aid or scholarship programs to help you out that 1st year California is a good state to study and live in. We have plenty of sunshine throughout the year. We have state colleges. I've heard that there are private colleges who offer very good choices in academic majors. New York is too crowded. Good luck. some good community colleges around here (CALIFORNIA) are Denaza and Foothill try and look into them they're really good schools and they offer alot |
