Does anyone know a good website for learning photography or painting?

I鈥檝e became recently interested in these kinds of art and I do hope to learn more about them and I thought maybe there is something online

I'm a photographer, not a painter, but I imagine the advice for perfecting your craft at either is similar.

You can learn some good pointers on the basics online, but you really need someone to mentor you on how to perfect your craft. You can do this by finding someone who is an established photographer or painter and have them start teaching you. My first photography lessons came from my father who was a reasonably good amature photographer, but after a couple of years I moved on to work with a couple of semi-professionals who taught me quite a bit more than my father knew.

You can also take classes; you can join a camera club or an artists club. You can learn a lot from books, magazines, and the internet, but you will not really perfect your craft in either endeavor without some human contact.

I'll give you a tip, I started playing with photos and from every way I got the pictures you learn how to move the camera with the sun, etc.
