Photography is B.A. degree or Fine Arts Degree?

Photography is B.A. degree or Fine Arts Degree?

it depends on where you go to school.

If you go for a B.A. in Photography you will have less art classes and more Math and English classes.
If you go to an art school most likely it will be a B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine Arts), and you will probably take more studio classes. For instance, foundations Drawing, 2D, and 3D.

Like the previous response said, it really depends upon the university you are attending. Generally speaking, a B.A. degree in photography requires less units within your immediate area of study, as well as less units outside your immediate area of study typically in art studio practices. For those who have a B.F.A typically there is more concentration in art studio practices. If you are curious about the degree requirements, it is best just to visit the university website.
