Doesn't Jeffery Becton's art remind you of Rene Magritte and Edward Hopper's bleak and crisp style ?

I know this is photography and probably shouldn't be compared to painting but still his images have the same affect as Hopper and Magritte's images do. His style appears very mysterious but still retains dreamlike and comforting quality. I love ideal art.

You are right as far as Magritte is concerned. The photo on the opening page of Becton's website is very reminiscent of Margritte's picture "Time Transfixed".
