i need a photographic equipment for 2 occassions in the next 2 weeks. with the arrays of cameras and my tight budget, i find it difficult to make a choice. is it possible to get a camcoder that gets excellent pictures?. Camcorder might be tricky but Amazon are doing a fairly good Samsung for 拢142 at the moment.
If you're just getting started, that's a nice price and it's widescreen... For more serious work, Sony are hard to beat. The model on Amazon is under 拢180 but it isn't WS...
I have an excellent Canon MV890 but the price is extortionate at the moment - about twice what I paid last year when it was released.
As for a digital stills camera... can't beat the Canon PowerShot range. Usually about 拢100... I'll go for this when I update my Olympus.
