1 or 2 gb SD card for my digital camera, which one is best?

1 or 2 gb SD card for my digital camera, which one is best?

When purchasing SD cards consider your downloading and filing needs along with your storage needs. If you shoot multiple events it might be better to have two 1GB cards in lieu of just One 2GB card.

If you shoot family pictures, a birthday party and a wedding all on the same 2GB card you will have filing issues when you download the pictures to your computer. If you shoot each event separately, you can download and save each file with an appropriate file name "Taylor's Birthday" "Joe and Sue's Wedding" without having to separate after download. This is a real time saver.

So unless your shooting high pixel photos, I would recommend purchasing several 1GB SD cards. If your planning to shoot high pixel photos, purchase several 2GB cards.

Hope this helps.

2Gb Is more space if you Dont take maney pic's 512MB works fine too get 2Gb if you cant use your computer much

A memory card of 2GB holds more photos. Stay with the 2GB.

less is never good, more is never enough :)...between 1gb and 2gb, 2 gb is good as it will save more photos, but am sure soon you will aspire for a 4gb SD card. make sure you do not take your photos in high pixels (1024X768 is more than enough) because low pixels take less memory and higher resolution are only as good as the paper size on which they are printed.

I think 1 GB card

2 GB wil be costier and it will not be fully utilized.

I think you should go for 1 Gb

I have now of 1 GB but i m still using only 33% of it.

Thats all

depend on ur usage of ur camera in most, if u think 1 gb can be enough at anytime then u choose but if u want u can go for 2 Gb so u can keep more videos n pic

I have a 2gb...they hold a lot of pictures.

SD cards have gotten really cheap these days so you might as well go for the 2GB, it really isn't that much more expensive. Plus, if you are on a trip or something, its nice not to have to worry about limiting the pics you take.

A memory card of 2GB holds more photos. please purchase 2GB. card.

Go for 2 GB card... see you can find camera roles on street but not memory card while you are traveling...

Since 2 GB costs hardly anything more than the 1 GB these days, you may as well get that. You won't have to worry about usign up too much memory if you shoot in the highest resolution your camera offers on the larger card. You won't be shortchanging your camera's abilities if you are not worried about filling up your card.

Hi ...
before purchase pls confirm Your camera supports 2 GB or 4GB card...
I'll always suggest you to go for Highest capacity available. because in these days higher Mega pixel cameras are available & produces larger file sizes and also captures videos @ high frame rates .

So go for 4GB ( if camera supports.) or 2GB.

it will allow you to take more lengh for video.

2 gb would be fine for taking more pictures and 1 gb cannot take more pics. try 2 gb of sd card.
