Nikon brand is highly rated by J.D. Power, but Fuji is OK, in my opinion. http://reviews.cnet.com/Fujifilm_FinePix... Some of the inexpensive cameras come with the software to make it easy to work. That entails the need for the user to have a good computer.
For under $100 you might have to get a used camera or see if there is a camera that others have tried before. I got lucky and received my cameras from others who upgraded.
So your best bet is to be good friends to others with cameras. Practice first by borrowing and then by that time you know generally what you are getting into. Beach Camera has a Fugi FinePix A500 for $95-+ shipping.
Best But might have it, if so you can avoid shipping charges. It ha 5 megapixels. Should give you excellent 5X7s when enlarged.It's very good on batteries (rechargeable). Don't forget there's a memory card to buy. |
