What is the best personal digital camera to buy at the $150 range or less?

I personally like Kodak.They are easy to use and some have large display screens
I have bought 5 digital camera hp Kodak Sony and samsong and some off brand .The Sony was the most expensive and also the hardest to use it was about 300 dollars and has a very small screen.The Kodak was the cheapest about 150 and easy to use the samsong was not to bad but for ease of use i chose Kodak or samsong.

Start with the budget. This may seem backwards, but it's not. You can find a decent camera to match any amount of money you want to spend.

Next, find a friend who will help you learn how to use the camera. This "friend" could even be the clerk in your local photo shop. Buy the camera that your friend recommends so that they will be able to teach you how to use it.

After you know what you are doing and are ready for your next camera - and this will come sooner than you think - you will be in a position to make your own choice.

i bought a hp photosmart 320....2.1mp. great little camera for the price. it was less then $150. very easy to use

Samsung Around a $120.oo at Walmart

In that price range we are talking about a point and shoot model. There are many many good ones out there, and what you need to look for is the most mega pixels you can get for your money. The higher the mega pixel, the better the resolution will be. I would also avoid any that do not have removable storage media as you do not want to be limited to x amount of pictures before you have to go home and download your images. I got an absolute no name 6 mega pixel on eBay for about 130, now that same camera is going for just over 200 as they sent me an email asking me if I might want to sell it back again now that the prices are up on them. (I don't.. I have a SLR ..digital single lens reflex.. that I use far more often than my point and shoot, but you never know when you might need that pocket camera)
