Hi! Which model of the digital camera is the best among all brands?

My budget is $430. Better if it is available in India. I'm not a professional. So which model will suit me?

Canon is, they have the best lens quality and best optics out there, in the 80's Nikon f3 models were the best although they were film cameras, digital cameras by far for quality and real true colors are Canons

I'm partial to Nikons myself. I have used Canons, and they are also very good cameras. I'd call them both top of the line names, but I'd have to say Nikon is the best.

Canon is the BEST! I have hade 5 canon cameras and bought over 50 for my friends. Nikon is also good, But I can introduce a fantastic canon camera.
