What is the best digital camera with the cheapest price? & Where do you find it?

Really depends on how much you want to spend on the camera and the necessary accessories like Memory card, Case, and Batteries.

I WOuld say right now the best Deal on the market would Be nikons L3. Very slim camera that is inexpensive and does not use Proprietary batteries. You can find this camera for about $179 at Bestbuy......and if your looking too get the camera with the accessories......look too spend about $30-$50 on memory and $50 for nikons kit that includes a battery charger, batteries and a case

I would start looking at Froogle.com, typing in "digital cameras". From there you can go by price. Once you get prices correct, you can see the manufacturers. Some you can buy online or go into a store nearby. It is a good idea to actually see the camera before you buy it.

It is the item which is cheap, not its price.

The best digital camera currently is the Sony DSC-R1, in my opinion. Th best price for it is somewhere between $650 and $700 after their mail in rebate of $100 (rebate is still on for like a month I think).

You won't find a better camera for under $2000. You simply won't find a better non-SLR camera. There are SLR cameras that are similar in price, but they all have crappy lenses. It would cost you another $1000 to buy a lens for them that is up to the the standards on the sweet lens on the R1.

Canon PowerShot A620 with 7.1 MP and 4x optical zoom. It's excellent because it has so many features, but if you don't feel like using them, you can just set it to the Auto setting. When you do that, you don't have to play with any of the settings, but the pictures are beautiful. There is also about 20 preset modes like portrait, landscape, nighttime, etc all in an easy to access menu. The price is also excellent. All this for $300! Usually, it goes for less, about $250!

I bought a few things at Reurb Depot that worked out well. Same as new with a warranty, but alot cheaper.
