digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions Get a sony. they are great cameras and rather cheap. I don't know your definition for cheap. I don't know what aspects are most important. Panasonic FZ 20 is a great camera. 5 MP, 12x optical zoom. If you are looking for a pocket filler, a compact camera, then this is not it. I tried many different camera. Please don't get confused on so many different products. SAMSUNG is best and very affordable in price.
I have Samsung 8.1 MP S850, that have 5x opt. zoom,5x digital and lots of other feature. it is mere $ 175.00, or u can get any other samsung get with in $ 100, thay are good.
Never buy Polaroid, thats bullshit. Sony, expensive ( in comparision), Olympus takes good pic. but "zoom" may not work after few months. In Canon, battery doesn't stay longer. Kodak is good only in analog cameras, not digital. Fuji $ hp are not bad, but get samsung, you will love it. That's easy. The Fuji F20.
From an image quality standpoint, it can go head to head with any compact digicam under $400...
and you can find if for under $140. I think there are many great cameras that are cheap and fit your budget. Go with the one you like! Remember it's 10% the equipment, and 90% the photographer that determines how good the picture turns out. Good luck! Panasonic DMC-TZ1!!!
10x optical zoom, 5mp, image stabilizer, pocketish sized... I love it. Its down to just over $200!

but shop around, you might be able to find it cheaper. I would like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera, Staples.com.]
Good luck! |
