What's the best digital camera to get ? |
I want a high quality one, that lasts a long time and works great . Nikon, Fuji & Canon are the main 3 brands chosen by professional snappers..... and which one to get also depends on your budget and whether you want an SLR type camera, or one that'll compactly fit in a pocket, etc..... so I guess I'll give you links to reviews of 2 / 3 / examples from each manufacturer, starting with........... sony Sony Canon Powershot A540 6.0 megapixels. Just do not buy an HP one. They don't work and break easily. Honestly, when you consider technology changes so much, I would recommend you get a name brand one that is NOT top of the line. Most cameras have WAY more mexapixels than you will ever need. If you buy a 4-5 megapixel camera for around $150-200, you won't be kicking yourself in 6 months to a year when you can get one twice as good for the same price. Unless you are doing professional photography, there is no need to spend more than $200-300 on a camera, and even that's a stretch. Just get name brand and you'll be happy. i'd say kodak or samsung. i've had both and they are both way easy to use, plus they last forever. i finally just bought a new one cuz the other one just wouldn't die! lol. they come with software that is easy to use and to install and they give you a lot of options for editing pics both on the cameras and on the software on your computer. the cameras also have a lot of good options such as frames for your pics and being able to edit the pic right on the camera! i've had nothing but good experience with both. plus you can't go wrong with a trusted name like kodak in the photo businss and samsung in the electronics business in general! Depends on whether you want a fully automatic point & shoot type camera or if you want something where you actually have to think, like a SLR camera. sony i have had my camera and it has lasted a long time I would personally buy a canon camera. They have good lenses and are all reasonably priced. You should consider the Sony cybershot series. They are very good, picture quality and all. You can try the Panasonic Lumix series, it is very good as well. They range from $150-$350. I can't inform you on how the pictures print out but I will assume they will have the same qualities that the cameras have. Good luck Got a Sony Cybershot for Christmas........i LOVE love love it! Easy to use, 6 mp, rechargeable battery-the only way to go! Takes beautiful pics. $199 at walmart. I guess that's what everyone wants; high quality, durable, works great. I think your 4th answer said it all. I own a Sony but will steer you to Canon for the biggest bang for your bucks. Canon makes excellent cameras. Kodak makes some decent cameras such as EasyShare Z700 and EasyShare V550. They also make ones that are JUST AVERAGE. Good Luck! If you want the smallest thinest one that fits in your pocket, then the Casio EX-S100 is great. I've had one for 3 years and am very pleased with it. Sony is the best you coud get, cause my dad has had a Sony camra for about ten years now. It also depends how you are going to use it, and if you take very good care of it it wil last you a long time. Canon is the best.Gow for a 5MP for a start. |
