You can get a 3.1 megapixel camera for under $50 now. 5 years ago... that was top of the line. I've recently done some research because I am buying one myself, so I found out that the top 2 digital camera brands are actually Nikon and Canon. But there are not much Nikon dealers you will find in the Philippines, so I'm definitely going with Canon. If you are looking for a cheap digicam, then I assume you are looking for a point and shooter (casual shooting) rather than a DSLR (expensive, for professionals).

but, assuming that you want what most people want, a regular but small compact camera, that takes high quality photos, there is one that stands out.
The Fuji F20. The image quality is second to none. The high ISO performance (for low light situation) is only rivaled by DSLRs, it's responsive, well built and it's amazingly affordable. About $140 the last I checked, and there is a $30 rebate from some sources which makes it even cheaper. buy a canon or a nikon. they are now becoming cheaper- the older models are anyway but they still rock !!!!! search this site you'll find some great links |
