What is the best digital camera for a mom? |
I want fast shutter speed and durability-Dont need alot of extra features My low end Kodak digital has held up for zillions of photos over the past two years - travel, outdoors, family activities, etc. Makes decent 4" by 6" prints that are far better than those from the budget one-time-use film cameras. Just turn it on and take pictures, no other settings need to be dealt with. Take the memory card out and take it to Wal Mart or Walgreen's or ... to print what she wants if she doesn't want to deal with a computer. i read that question wrong, but my answer is the same. kodak easy share all the way, my mom's had one for years... you can get them for like $100. the pictures she prints off it look great, you can't even tell they were taken with a digital camera and they're easy to use. and durable. nikon d50. digital slr. it has all the extra features you say you don't need, but also the automatic settings. so you can experiment and learn how to take better photos as you have free time, or get different lenses for longer range. best dslr on the market. approx. $699 Check out different cameras at dpreview.com and see for yourself...Good luck! Nikon Coolpix. canon S2 IS. i have the S1 and i love it! the 12x zoom is great cause you can get a picture from far away w/out interrupting the tea party (or water balloon fight:) |
