Which is the best Digital camera out there for under 300 Dollars?

I researched alot for my camera and I bought a kodak easyshare z740 for 299.00 almost a year ago. unbeliveable features and picture. 5megapixals 10x optical going up to 50x digital. cool thing is it runs on 2 double A's. ive dropped this thing 3 times about 4 foot up on concrete and it still works like new.. check out cnet.com or type in top 10 camera reviews. itll be there
