What is the best digital camera in the market today?

The 'best' is different for everyone.
But if Zoom and Megapixels is what you're looking for,
Consider a Sony H7 or H9. 15x zoom with 8Mpix
Or, if you want a compact, a Sony T100. 5x zoom, but small.

The Olympus SP550UZ has an 18x zoom, with is the biggest around, and 7Mpix.

the best is still coming in one after another,,,so first before you get one make yourself know of the requirement n wat will u be doing or kind of shots u'll be taking n wat size of photo u'll be printing mostly with the camera......why u need the most MPixels on your camera, are you blowing up the photo up to human size?i don see the need of to high mega pixels on my camera if i don really print really large photo size or do lot's image cropping....if u have a 6 or 7 mp camera i think it's more than enough if u were to print from size 4R to A3. for the most zoom well that's ok but if the camera is to small but have a long zoom on it than don't; cause i don think it will be stable enough unless it's quite big but not really big and have a good grip dan it should do....and for camera dat look's great hmmm i don understand, are you going for the camera fashion show or you like to stare at it when u r bored, trust me, i'll give u 2 to 4 weeks u will not bother wat your camera look like cause the end result of the photo prints dat makes you happy wth your camera and keep it with you till it takes no shots any longer....so good luck on your choice n start shooting good photos and appreciate good quality result.
