What is the best digital camera for a mac?

I've used digital cameras from Canon, Olympus and Sony on my Mac . Macs will generally recognize any digital camera without downloading drivers, etc. When you plug in the camera by USB cable, and set the camera switch to the correct position, or plug in a card reader, it will appear as another hard disk on the desktop.

Something by Sony or Canon. On the Apple on Canon websites, however, they say that they're still doing compatibility tests with OS X Tiger, so I would go for a Sony camcorder.
