There's a samsung digital camera for 拢70!It's really good, it used to be 拢200, I got it for 拢150 about 6 months ago so I'm gutted it's only 拢70 now!lol

100 pounds? That's a heavy camera!

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras and learn as much as they can from the internet.
Go to the store and hold them and try them to see what they feel like and how they take pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.

I would say a Nikon cool pix 7600 if you can still get one as i think they have been superceded now try looking through kelkoo I find that a good place to start when i look for anything i want within the price range
