What is the best digital camera for about $150-$200 price range.?

i've been looking for digital cameras as well. The thing is they are always updating with new features and that prices are always going down. from my experience with a wide variety of cameras, I personally suggest looking at Nikon and Canon brand. They have sharp, crisp clear images. I've only done Canon research so far...but there are older versions of A series and SD series for $200 or less. Though the Canon SD630 comes in at just about $250. I would suggest researching on Amazon.com, I typically skim through the Company's report, but pore over the consumer/buyer's ratings and comments. For good deals, try eBay! or looking through LA Times Sunday Ads (Office Depot, Staples, or OfficeMax)-typically good deals, like included with free memory card.

u can get a 3-5 pixel camera - canon isn't bad

Go on ebay and look around. You can usually find great deals there just be sure you are dealing with a reputable seller. I bought and Olympus Camedia and it's great. I just upgraded to a 9 megapixel Fuji.

I like those 3 cameras, mostly because of the large LCD screen, 5-6 megapixels, and optical zoom.
