I bought a Fuji one at walmart for under 120 and it's awesome I couldnt have asked for a better camera

wal-mart has a samsung for $88.78. it takes perfect pictures.. i recommend it. plus, the memory card is only $13.77, and it is one GB, which is awesome

Anything by Fuji. They are easy to use and give professional results.

I 100% agree with Sabine. The Canon A530 is an excellent value.

I agree with the Cannon:
If you can afford to bump up to the next level, get the Cannon PowerShot A620 -- recently bought one on eBay for my son's Christmas gift for less than $200. We picked this one because his sister has the A610 and she loves it. Easy to use, takes great pics and short videos, you can use rechargeable batteries to save money.

I think the best deal of the season is the Canon Powershot A530. It has been on sale at numberous big box stores below $130. That's a good price on a good camera. The A530 was selling for $180 not too long ago. I've recommended this camera within my own family, so I'll be living with the results of this recommendation right along with you. You can use the rest of your budget to buy a decent memory card.
