What is the best digital camera for a teenager thats under two hundred dollars?

I'd also argue for Kodak, especially if she is mostly going to use it for casual things like photos of friends, family, road trips, etc., and has no serious interest in photography as such. Kodak did a good job simplifying their cameras in that price range.

Kodak has several cameras under $200, very often with a "plug the camera into the" printer dock included at that price - no need to to hassle with the computer or make a trip to the store photo lab to make prints. The printers need refills that available at most big name stores like Wal Mart ,K Mart, Staples, etc., which makes them easy to find...

Hewlett-Packard has some nice cameras in that price range too. Mys sister has a low-end HP now for several years, and uses it to upload photos to eBay and her WWW site.

If you can find a store with a selection of demo cameras, the best thing is to try out several in your price range.

Kodak makes an excellent little camera that sells for around $1 hundred and if you shop it, Wallmart for example, had them for around $85. We just got our grand-daughter one for her 15th birthday.
