Which is the best digital camera at the moment? |
Which is the best digital camera at the moment? Ok there are two schools of thought here. I work for a newspaper and most of the people use either the top of the line Canon or the top of the line Nikon. To be honest I have really only used a Nikon D70 (6.1 megapixel) (about 500 bucks) and I love it. But, from talking to other people they like either the Canon EOS-1DS Mark II, (16.7 Megapixel)(about $6,000) or the Nikon DX2 (12.4 Megapixel)(about $3,000). Those are both expensive -- but they are the best. They also have so many features that you could spend years learning them. You will also have to figure in lenses which can be very spendy as well. I linked you to some sites below and if you play around there you will get to look at many different options, especially cheaper ones. But, the question asked for the best and as far as I know, these are the best. Canon EOS Rebel Either the Cannon Digital Rebel or the Nikon equivalent (can't remember the name). I think the best all around do anything type is the Canon S2IS. There are others better at particular things but this one is kind of a jack of all trades. I have a Cannon EOS Rebel XT. It takes great pictures but it's very bulky to carry. I still find myself using my little digital point and shoot simply because of its portability. The next digital camera I get will be one of the slim models. It's easier to sneak into concerts and such. :) I have a Kodak Easy Share C330. It takes video, pictures, and links up to the Internet. It does other pretty cool stuff that would be expected. It's around $150, definitely the best for it's price! Probably the one on the Hubble Space Telescope. Sony DSC-N1 it defends on where you are going to used it. I would recommend the Olympus sp500. It is 6 mega-pixels and has an optical zoom of 10x despite it's small size. Look on the Internet for full specifications - it's features are too many to list in this reply. It can be purchased for under 拢200. Depends on the pricerange and type: I agree with the last few people that any camera can only be the best for a particular kind of photography. The best camera is one that you take with you wherever you go to take a ton of photos. It is up to you to make your camera good. If you take a ton of pictures, then you will begin to notice things that could be made better if you had a technically superior camera. Then, go out and get a better one. |
