What is the best Digital Camera to buy for around 拢150?

I'd go for the Fuji FinePix E900 Zoom

I've always had Fuji, and they're great. Exactly the same as the Nikons but badged as a fuji and 2 thirds the price

If you are in UK better buy Minolta-Konica;which comes at 150 pounds.and it has many many functions and easy to use and operate it.

best one Ive seen is a 7megapixel nikon camera from Morgan Computer

have a look on eBay you will find some good bargins if you want a compact with zoom and 5.1 mega pixles there is a polaroid on offer for a reasonable price.

Consider the Canon Powershot A630. With a 1 GB memory card, you will hit your budget. If you can spring for a bit more money, look at the A640.

Consumer Reports for November 2006 has ranked the Canon Powershot A620 as the best compact digital camera. It is becoming almost a legend for longevity at the top of various consumer lists. It looks like this model has been replaced by the A630, which I would expect to be just as popular. The A640 appears quite similar and shares the "600" series numbering, so I guess it's just another upgraded version of the now-classic A620. It looks pretty much the same except for being a 10 MP camera.

I own a few Nikon DSLR's and I'd buy the Canon A630 or A640 for myself.

The A620 was rated about twice as good as any as far a battery life. I hope the A630 and A640 are just as good. Use Energizer e2 LITHIUM batteries and you will be happy with battery life.

With this camera, you will find the memory card is a cute little token of thanks from Canon, but not much more. Buy a 1 GB Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III card. You will NEED the increased capacity and write speed to fully realize the benefits of your camera.

If you want a sleek, smaller camera that will easily fit in your pocket, consider the Canon Powershot SD600. It gives up some of the features of the A630 and 640, but at least it still has an optical viewfinder, which I consider to be essential. The SD700-IS and A710-IS are just a little over your budget, but add image stablization.

If you want to trim the budget a little, the Canon Powershot A530 or A540, are great choices. You will need a decent memory card, though. I'd say get at least 512 MB.

I have just bought the Fujifilm V10 for 150 pounds and its GREAT!
I love it, it has a huge 3 inch screen on the back, a good movie mode (though most digital cameras have practically identical quality in this regard anyhow) and 3.4 optical zoom which is just above average. It takes very good quality pictures and has some really nifty features too.

The downsides would have to be relativally high noise on the highest two ISO settings and no manual modes to sort out that white balance.

This camera is definatly worth a look if you can find it (I bought in Tottenham court road).

Canon Ixus 60 is the best. Try amazon.

sony dsc600 been on the go for a while but its a sony and its a cracking bit of kit.good battery life and easy to work and use on computer and printer. pick up cheap memory sticks on ebay.....
