Suggest me best digital camera for close up shots?

There are some great cameras on the market. The best are SLR'S. You can change to different lenses. I use a EOS Canon Digital Rebel XT with a Sigma 70-300APO DG Macro lense for close ups. Depending on the kind of money you want to spend. I've got over $3000.00 in camera gear. You can get a great 8 Mega pixel camera, just a point and shoot for under $400.00. In a close up or Macro photography, lenses will be your most important tool.

A sharp lens and good bokeh will be your main concern. If you're photographing people you might want a lens around 105mm therefore you're not too close that will make your subject uptight.

There are lot of good cameras,but it all depends on your budget.So if u are on a shoe string budget u may go for non-slr cameras also.Most of these cameras produce excellent results, i am using a sony psc-200 7.2 mp camera,and i do take close ups.

Its pretty good at close up shots, you can also consider canon 620 A, Olympus cameras also do the job descently for eg. stylus 800,its 8 million pixels.
