What brand of digital camera is the best?

I'm buying one this weekend(finally) and don't know where to start.

Kodak, if you're looking for inexpensive,
Canon if you want to spend a lot of money to good use

Im not sure about the best, but we have a Kodak digital camera and its easy to use and every pic we've taken has come out great. We like it.*
