Which Kodak digital camera is the best? Presently have 5.0 mp and having problems with it.?in my honest opinion it will be very costly to buy lets say canon, or sony as a digicam because one has to consider obsolesence, technology, and the fact that every year a higher mega pixel comes up, and electronic digital cameras are more or less disposable in nature due to its electronic parts which gets broken easily thru time, like the ccd, lcd, etc, and due to miniaturization of digicams today, its hardly servicable and parts cannot be replaced, so its not very durable as well. and when u buy a digicam always think of it like ur buying a nokia cellphone, or a laptop or a desktop pc u buy it the next day its depreciated already.
so i think KODAK cameras are very reasonable and will work well with ur needs for a period of time, as u dont expect a digicam to have a useful life like a film dslr, few years of use will be worth it already, and with its low price hi feature (sony costs 4x more and canon 3x more) i think its the best value for money, just dont have the sentimental value like big names but its ok at all occassions.
I myself have kodak cameras and its very useful to me, especially that u have it developed at kodak express developing centers, using kodak papers its a good choice, for compatibility, its fool proof and easy to use. i have a 5mp kodak camera myself, and its easier to use than our canon powershot, i like the kodak docking system which sync all pixture automatically by easyshare.
so kodak is OK. (just dont expect it to last 10years) best value for money guaranteed. Stay away from Kodak, if you want a quality camera try a Sony or Cannon |
