I've heard that Nikon is the best brand for cameras. I have a Canon, and its quite good. Personally, I want one of those cameras that are the size of a credit card. Of course, this is for personal use and hence I prefer light weight. if u want to print good quality pictures...and good quality movies to be recorded,, u should atleast go for a 6 mega pixel camera...

The Ixus series are more compact, the A series are a big bigger and cheaper.
u can see the powershot A620 is one of the best in A series... and if u want a compact, small camera, go for ixus/digital elph camera models... ixus is the europien name of digital elph camera....
personally i would prefer the A620 0r the A630....
In general, the Ixus is smaller and handier, you can actually hang it around your neck like a cellphone.
The "A" series is known to use up the batteries alot faster; Penlight. While the Ixus uses a rechargable one like in cell phones.
