What is the best digital camera out there for 399.00?

Cameras that have a retail price of about 399, I know you have to buy memory cards and all that.

for 399 there are so many options out there for you...do you just want a point and shoot or are you looking for more control? do you want a camera to slide in your pocket and only might have 4x-6x zoom at the most? do you want a mega zoom DSLR like camera? One camera that you will be able to get that has great control over what you want to do with the pics...Fujifilm Finepix S9100...check it out on the web read the reviews and decide for yourself. 9.0mp 10x Zoom (28-300mm) excellent camera if you want full manual controls, it does take full auto too if you want. you can find them on the web from $340-500 but i did buy mine for $350.

"Best" is a matter of opinion, but I will recomend the camera I just bought myself. I recently bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 at Best Buy for about $300. In my opinion it was worth the price, and it takes a perfect picture every time. It is easy to use the 3'' touch screen, and is small. I actually carry it around with me most of the time and it isn't too bulky. It is 10.1 MP, so the resolution is outstanding. It has Carl Zeiss Optics, which are very nice lenses. It takes video, as well and I was surprised how easy uploading images were. I hope this helps.
