Best digital camera???

i want a really good one, one that has a lot of different lightings and features.. all that good stuff. and good for taking things like above shots.

ive seen a lot of good things about the sony cybershot ones, but i also know someone else who has a kodak, and it takes good pictures.... but she probably also photoshops the hell out of them. so i dont know..

any input?

It's REALLY tough to buy a bad camera these days - they're all so good.

My daughter was so pleased with the Kodak's versatility and software that she talked me into buying one. I've used Sony, Canon, Fuji, Nikon - all good.

Go with a Canon, Nikon or Panasonic. All great cameras in any price range.

Nikon D series (D40, D80, and several others) Great cameras and the lower end models is not too expensive. Google nikon D.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z75 comes with 35 Best Shot modes to maximize your photo taking experience. It also comes in pink, red, blue, silver, and black! Sonys are good cameras, but you pay a lot for the name and they are only compatible with memory sticks which are pricey. I'd recommend a Casio!

Nikon makes the best cameras

go for sony..they are good except for the memory card which cost more

I have a specific suggestion: try the Canon A570 IS, which has image stabilization, all the usual bells and whistles and which should be selling for under $200.

Once you narrow down your choices and your budget, then write them down on a piece of paper and go into the store and actually handle them. Make sure the size is right for you. Make sure the buttons feel natural for you and that the camera seems easy to use and that the menus make sense to you. You have to personally handle a camera to make sure it's the one for you.

Good luck with your search and remember that it's the person behind the camera that makes the photo. Learning how to use the camera will help you to take better photos; the technology can't replace you as the photographer.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 and the Kodak EasyShare Z612 are very good cameras, so look into those. The Sony one I mentioned has slightly better picture quality, but the Kodak is about $100 cheaper.
