Canon digital rebel XT or XTi that will depend on if you are going to use studio lights or not ,the xti does not sink with strobes unless you have a hot shoe attachment , the xti is also plastic , this is good and bad . good because it is light and easily carried about and is cheap in price , however it may not be a durable as the Nikon, however the Nikon cost more ,and i have always been a canon fan. if you have the money get the canon 5d, it is pricey, but if you have some good paying gigs it will pay for itself. lenses are where your money will be wisely invested. as well as a portable flash unit with an adjustable power ratio. |
