Which is the best digital camera to buy ?

i am planing to buy a nikkon 7600 is that a good choice , if no pls suggest an alternate choice , how are about Sony Digicams , i am not a professional so that means i need a camera thats very user-friendly ,

The picture quality is close to that of a digital SLR but easier to use. It's heavier than most point and click cameras and the price tag is more expensive. But that's the digital camera I would get if I want a user friendly camera with the best picture.

If that's not your cup of tea, look into the Canon Powershot series. They always been rated pretty good.

the word 'best' is quite subjective

however I'm using Panasonic FZ5, which is quite a good semipro digicam.

also if you like a user friendly one, try Casio's camera.. there are many different modes preset for various environments
