What is the best digital camera I could purchase, need a camera for sports pictures?

need a camera to take fast action shots of my sons playing basketball, baseball, what do you recommend? any advice would be appreciated, I would like to buy any brand of HP

HP sounds cool but I think if you want to use more of your camera, I do not suggest HP although it is widely compatible.

For fast actions, you need to set the shutter fast.
Any camera can do that.

Canon IXUS series (unsure what do they call it in the US, probably Canon S) is good but the price is not cheap.

Mine is Casio Exilim EX-Z57.

canon ixus (little elf cam) or casio z57? the question was which camera is best for shooting sports. those cams have 3x optical zoom at best. Report It
