Best **cheap** digital video camera?

I'm looking for a functioning, quality-- but cheap-- digital video camera. Do you have any reccomendations of a brand and model?

MiniDV-- could i easily transfer them to my computer?
I'm looking for easy drag and drop video files from a camera to PC.

You can't Drag-n-Drop from a miniDV.

The only thing that comes close is a hybrid camcorder. The video quality is very poor on those cameras, but the digital pictures are quite impressive.

Look at AIPTEK's website and browse around. I have one of these cameras and they are fun.

Go for a MiniDV camcorder. They are cheaper than DVD and hard drive, and have better quality.

new technology doesn't come cheap.
Best cheap digital camcorder would be miniDV but when you talk about darg & drop thing, you've got to shell out more dough. it is possible with a harddiskdrive camcorder (either a sony or a jvc).

i would suggest dxg camcorder.. (one of those tiny ones) but that thing is no good at all!! (the quality of the picture) and none of those tiny cute lookin camcorders are good! but i you only care for the price not for the kind of picture ull have then go ahead and buy the cute lil one! but they suck
