What is the best digital camera and the best Mini DV Camcorder?

I am Trying to find a good Digital Camera (under $200) and a good Mini DV Camcorder (Under $300) Can Anyone help me

Canon s600 digital camera
Sony DCR-HC26 camcorder

Canon, definately for a cam, but I recomment the A430. I just bought one for 150.00 cdn. Some digi cams can be used for IM as well.

For DV I'd go JVC.

My bestfriend bought me a Canon SD630 Digital Camera Elph 6.0 megapixels, 3.0" LCD, 3x optical zoom. Trust me, it's the bomb!
