What is the best digital camera available for the best price?

I am looking for a good digital camera for a pretty good price....i will spend up to maybe 300 dollars. I am just looking for others opinons, thanks

Hello, well ......... there is no best digital camera for the best price. But the last camera I bought at an awesome price was from beachcamera.com. 5.1 mega-pixel, analog and digital zoom, rechargeable batteries (charge on the docking station), docking station with printer, camera case and lens cleaning kit. All including shipping for just less than $300.00. Do your research and good luck!

I like my Kodak. I have the one with the printer as well and it does a great job. I paid less then $300 for it all.

Research,research,research I just bought a canon A640 for $160 because it takes fast action shots 2.3 fps. Because thats what i was looking for in a camera. You got to find what you want in a camera first. I know the the canon A510 and A520 have a lot of options on them and can do different stuff both of those are less then $200

As others have pointed out, there is no single answer to your question. It all depends on your requirements, what features are important to you, etc. Personally, I have been very happy with several different Sony models, ranging from simply point-and-shoot through full-features SLR-like cameras. I've used others brands (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Kodak, etc.), but found the Sonys to be the best overall combination of features and price for me.
