Camera help... please, please help! I need to know if I should purchase this camera??

I'm great at taking pictures learning lighting and I'm going to start taking my own pictures for the models wearing my clothing for my online clothing store and I want to know if this camera will do the job...

I would definately buy it. It is a very good camera. I would also buy an external flash 430EX CANON and an extra lens, 28-135EF USM IS CANON. I know the camera has a build-in pop up flash but for better results and power you would need an extra external flash. It depends on how much you are willing to spend. The list of what need to buy is long or short depends on your wallet.

This should work for you, I have the exact camera. All you have to do for taking lightning picture is put it in bulb-mode and use remote control cable-release.

The XTI is a great entry-level DSLR. If you are photographing models you want your lighting to be good...I'd head over to strobist.com and learn some strobe-based lighting basics.

Dont forget, the lens is very important for what your needed, not much on camera.
