Buying a camera...?

I'm considering purchasing a new digital camera. Does anyone have any tips or advice on what to look for? I will probably purchase it from Best Buy.

get a digital camera with
nice zoom
like kodak, they come with some good zoom
and also cannon, they take some nice clear pictures.
Just look for a camera that suits you, and will make you, friends, and family look beautiful!
I wouldn't get a camera with too many pixels
because the higher, the more clear, which means that any little error on you or your skin will definetly show, and you don't want that..unless.. you do! then sure why not, the higher the pixels, the better the quality.

I don't like fujifilm fine pixs, i've had that camera
and i didn't like the way it took pictures, the zoom
wasn't good, and it wouldn't take nice full body shots.
Also, the lighting sucked! Without the flash, or enough lighting
in the background, the pictures came out too dark
or just plain ugly!

It really depens what you want the camera for. If you need it for general photos of family and freinds, of days out and stuff like that, then you can pick up soem cheapm quality cameras for about 拢75-125. Dont spend more than that. But if yo're wanting to use the camera for detailed images, like taking pictures of itesm to put on eBay, teh you're gonna have to buy something with a high mega-pixel range and probably consider spending about 拢300.

one thing to keep in mind is that unless youre a professional photographer, or looking to become one, you typically wont need more than a 5 or 6 megapixel camera. i have a casio exilim, the one thats 7 megapixels and ive always enjoyed it because its easy to use and slim. it has lots of filters and settings you can use for different environments you might take pictures in. one of the things that sold me on it was the anti-shake (which most cameras these days have). good luck and enjoy!

Try to get a camera with a big screen. those are really good. and one that has a high digital zoom.

If you are getting an slr, I like the canon rebels. If a point and shoot, I like the fuji finepix.
