Bringing a camera to a concert.....? |
on the venue's website (fillmore detroit) it says this about cameras "Cameras: (Nonperfessional 35mm & Digital) May or may not be permitted per the discretion of Artist Management; note: tri- or uni- pods are prohibited. Video is not permited" Im gonna be at the same concert, I will try to sneak one in, I have heard its not very hard, how else do people get all those MCR concert vids on Youtube? Just a though, LOL I dunno tho I work at concerts all the time sure you can bring a camera to the concert as long it's not a professional camera. if it is a professional camera they'll find you and take the memory sick from the camera and hold the camera until the concert is over. and delete the images on it. Lol, I'll be sneaking one in to the same show. The venue generally allows them, but they're not supposed to be allowed on this tour. I think you can sneak one in, but if you're on the barrier and they see you snapping pics they can take the camera/batteries/memory card away. I think if you're careful you can do it. Bring a purse to carry, and stick it in the lining. My friend has a 'concert purse' that she brings to all the concerts we go to because the lining is ripped. We sneak in hecka stuff in that thing, but once you have it in they don't really care. If you have to go through detectors, then my friend taught me this thing were you wrap it in foil look it up to see if it will work with your situation. And if you get caught, give them your camera battery, that way you still have you camera. Batteries are more easily replaced. Have fun. When I went to a My Chemical Romance concert last year I bought a disposable digital camera for 15 bucks and they didn't catch it. This way even if they did it wouldn't be a huge loss. when i went alot of people had cameras. i think its only if ur in the mosh pit that theres a metal detector because when we went past it there was security and all that checking people but reserved sitting had nothing Lol! um...i think here. yes i'm thinking straigh kinda you cant they check you and everything and if you do get catched they will look after it and you will have to pick it up after the concert is finished you can't bring a digital camera, i think. the one we went to yesterday, the people weren't checked too much, but hide it somewhere sneaky I'm going to the concert tomorrow too! go and try...... heyyyyy i was there. Hmm well I'm not really sure what you should do. Back in August of 2007 I went to Rockfest The Twelfth. They wouldn't allow studded bracelets, digital cameras, disposable ones, or anyother things. But what I did was get a disposable camera and when it was time to give tickets I put it in my shoe. It looked like I was wearing one heal but it worked. I didn't get caught when they did a search. So if I were you I would actually get a disposable camera. What you can do with those is take pictures. When you take the camera to a store like Wal Mart you can have them get the pictures on CD's so you can upload them to your computer. But if you decide to TRY to sneak your camera in just stick it in your shirt. Thats what my sister did with her camera. |
